I have a Whites prizm 5 with the 950 coil , i find some good things, but i never seem to get a solid signal any deeper than 4 inches , im wondering if im doing somthing wrong or just unlucky ,a friend found a 1844 large cent on ground i went over twice ,i disciminate out nails, foil, pop tabs and steel pennys , and then use the smart notch to let nickels back in , which are allways tabs it seems. i go a notch above the factory setting for sensitivity most the time , if i dont get any other signals, i'll try the sensitivity all the way up to go deeper or so i think., so does any of this sound right to you guys or is there somthing i'm missing ? Any advice would be great thanks in advance . dave in iowa

Default prism

I just got rid of my Prism last week, not that I didnt like it, just an upgrade. But I would run my sens all the way max and never had any problems with interferance or chicken scratching sounds. With my prism II and stock coil I have found CW bullets as deep as 9 inches (maybe deeper, dont remember), but the deepest coin was probibly around 6 or 7. Hope that helps some.....HH.....Bill
