Default White's DFX

have been thinking about getting a new DFX, so I went to my White's dealer yesterday to take a gander at one, and let me tell you that is one fine machine. I'm now using a White's Prizm III, and compaired to the DFX, it's like VW to a Cadilac. It will do anything you want to do, except dig your finds for you, and I think the DFX has options available to do that. Think I'll just have to get one.

Hey Norris. I have great prices on the DFX and a great deal too. Give me a call . Also use one and can help you with its operation.

Default dfx

Have been thinkin about upgrading myself,, currently have an xlt,,, I like the dual mode idea of the dfx tho... Is it that much different, I mean the quality, depth, Id of target? Furthermore, HOW do you upgrade to seasoned digger, rather than my little digger status? I am somewhat ashamed of my little bit. Hard to show it off!!! lol.. by the way boobie- am interested in your post for wireless, think I might email you with that.

Dave44; don't know how i got upgraded, just looked and there it was. just a guess, but maybe it has something to do with how long i've been a member. if you'll go to www.losttreasure.com/fieldtes , they have a field test on the dfx that is real good, and it sort of compares it to the xlt. check it out, and i think you'll agree that the dfx is a much better md. let us know if you get one. HH

Hi Dave 44,
You have one of the best detectors made in the XLT. I had a DFX,a CZ5 and still using a Sov GT.
I recently traded for a Whites M6 and couldn't be happier. It is one of the best coin @ jewelry detectors i've used so far.
For inland hunting i love the Modified IDX Pro and Minelab Musky along with the XLT but now i'm thinkin the M6 might be one of the better ID hunters made.
The M6 has most of the traits of the Modified IDX Pro with tone ID and has all the coils available for the DFX, MXT.
With the XLT you have all the best traits and usable adjustments and coil selections of any lower single frequency detector and with the M6 you would have quicker recovery speed, easy to understand tone ID , numeric target ID ,great depth, auto ground traking, and numerous coil selections comparable to the DFX.
Been there done that with more than a few detectors and luvin the M6
Whatever you buy ... Good luck !! HH Bill

Dave44;
go to www.losttreasure.com then click on field tests, then go down, and click on White's detectors, it will give you tests on most all White MDs. scroll down to the DFX. let me know if you get it o.k.
