the coin on the bottom left looks like some sort of crusaders coin from 12th century, but not sure. The pick I really like is the GTO, WOW!!!

My dad restores old cars I don't know how you find the time to detect. Those cars are like babies a lot of work.

Definately Roman, can't tell you which Emporer though as I can't read the lettering.

I agree with Anne, I'm also pretty certain the coin bottom left is Roman, Iv'e found a few that look very similar.
If you want to try and identify it this is a good site for reference -www.forumancientcoins.com.
Iv'e posted a couple of other replies but get "the Administrator will check it out before posting" (in brief)- couple of days have passed , how long does it take ?
Anne - are you from Yeovil ?

Hi,
Bottom right: Faustina I, wife of the Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius who ruled 138 - 161 AD. She passed early in his career in 141 AD.
The coin is an ancient fake known as fourree.
This particular coin denomination is a denarius. around 14 mm
Although there is some dispute as to whether all fourrees are fake, there is no proof to back them as real.

ob: DIVA FAVSTNA
re: AED DIV FAVSTINAE
hexastyle temple with statue of deity inside

Bottom left: Coin denomination is known as an antoninianius.
Might be Billion silver. Which means it contains alot, if not, mostly bronze.
Coin looks like an authentic issue.
Slightly larger than the denarius. A 3rd century issue.
The emperor is Valerian I father of Gallienus.
Valerian 1 ruled 263 - 170 AD

Hi,

The Valerian I reverse looks like APOLINI CONSERVA Apollo with branch in right hand and lyre in left hand.

Nice coins.

Thankyou,
Doug
