Default 4 of some of my favourite coins

Hi,
I'm new here, but I'm going to show some of my favourites. I have more than 4 favourites but these are just some I came across the last week and mean something special.
First of all a Roman coin:
Front:

Back:

Trajan Decius A.D. 249-251
Roman Emperors - DIR Trajan Decius

Av: IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG
radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right

Rev: DACIA
Dacian stands left, holding a staff surmounted with the head of a dragon.

And some 3 more different coins. 2 being Australian.
Back:

First is Donald Bradmon, knighted. Second is something else, I forget what it was.
And last is a half crown from 1977, all coins not in circulation, not sure how many were made but since getting them (Australian ones) around 2001 I haven't come across any more. I got the half crown ages ago off a relative.

Front:

I tried polishing the half crown but it seems it was chipped where the brown bit is, and on the back that's some other muck I couldn't get off with olive oil, and jewellery cleaner as well as some many washes and rinses.

Tell me what you think.

Also if you could show me some of your favourites, it would be very interesting to see.

The Roman and English half crown were given to me, I suspect they were metal detected by a family member around England london area.
The 2 20 cent pieces with Sir Donald Bradman and the other one were spare change that had a different backing.

I'm looking to invest in buying a metal detector so I can find more coins, but at the moment I'm just buying them uncleaned and polishing them up and adding them to my collection.

I have many more from lots of countries.

I'll name a few:
Mauritius
Fiji
Australia
England
Japan
China
South Africa
Zimbabwe
Zambia

And notes from most of those countries. Except for England, way too expensive.

I'll see what else I can find as well, I have a proof set from Taiwan with the royal family on the coins, I'll scan those later.

Hi Drew
Please be careful when cleaning your coins
They might look nice when there bright and sparkling
But you can actually depriciate the value by over cleaning

Yes I was very careful, I first placed it in clean water, not tap water, water fresh from the sky, I did this a few times and it got rid of most of the muck, after that I soaked it in olive oil, and used a soft toothbrush and cotton swabs to clean it, there is still some little dirt on it but that can be easily cleaned with olive oil or some dishwashing detergent.

I wasn't looking to sell these anyway, they are a personal collection - to be handed down in the family for generations.
