Nice find Bud ! I think your right on the date.My Dad and I have found alot of old bottles while doing plumbing and heating work over the years.We once did a job back in the late 60's.The owner had cases of open pontil bottles in the basement and Dad bought them all.There were some really nice bottles in that bunch,some were dated way way back.

I think I would have no problem getting the OK. The seam stops before the crown. I also found an old umbrella and a tobacco standard can beside the bottle. I need to open the can....might be full of cash?
