yep ! that was before there was a mall ! The patch of Laurell was behind my place in Locust Grove ( rt 3 toward culpeper) I lived on indiantown road just past lake of the woods awsome spot miles of woods, just a short walk to the river, and peace and quiet !

Well you out to see that mall now.
Went there last year.I never saw a mall with 4 lane going into it..kinda scary for this country boy.
Things weren't that built up when I lived there in 88

Sorry about getting off the main topic here Creek

I know what you mean,Last time i was there things were growing overnight ! There was one area that was all fields in the spring by fall it was townhouses as far as you could see ! Thats one of the things i like about were i am now,my hometown of gilbertsville N.Y. is the same as it was 100 years ago pretty much. Same here in Morris small town were everyone pretty much knows everyone.(i guess thats a good thing )wish we had the weather of VA. though,i've about had it with being cold all the time ! Oh and creek good luck on the quest for the mushrooms !Around these parts we look for fiddel head ferns soon, tasty !
