Checkin in!
Got back from vacation on july 10th. Been busy coaching all stars in baseball. So I'm just now checkin in. Vacation with the wife and kids was great. Fun , sun, rest and most of all metal detecting some old cottage sites along lake Erie.I got up at the crack of dawn. Downed my coffee and drove 10 min. to the state park in Geneva, OH. I hiked another 10 min. back into the woods to the cottage foundations I worked last year. I detected around 4 hours every day I was there. These are my finds using the whites xlt. Indianheads ( 1899, 1905, 1906) coins were in pretty bad shape. Wheaties ( 1916, 1940,1941, 1944(2) , 1950D, 1952D,1954D.Nickel 1953, Dime 1965, quarter 1965 and a 1947 Mahoning County dog license.No silver on this trip, but I'm going back up in August. There's an old park I want to try, If the rangers don't kick me off! Good luck to you all. I hope to be checkin in with some local finds as soon as I wind up baseball season. Greg
