Basset's Weekend Finds

Presently I am $0.27 closer to paying off my metal detector.
Went out for about an hour on a small plot of land that is owned by the city. There used to be a sidewalk that ran from our deadend road to an elementry school on the next block. The school is about 30-40 years old. Thought maybe I would detect some of the coins or other treasures that were dropped by the kids walking on the sidewalk on the way to school.
The only thing I found this time was a mashed Coors beer can (about 6" down) and a piece of copper water line pipe.
Didn't find anything of value but I did get in some practice.

yep pratice an pratice. i have spent hours an hours on a hot spot and nothing.. i still do test trips in fields. bushhog then cut it down to 2" /// like hundred yard strips. one day the pickit post or camp will be found.
a 200 dollar machine can find you good stuff if in the rite area. a 2000thousand dollar machine wont find sh!^ in the wrong area.
