Went back to the park yesterday

I went to the ball park but there was a sign forbidding anyone from using the park other than the little league. So I went to the fairgrounds which is very large. I found 2 dimes, 1 quarter, 1 nickel, and 1 penny. Not bad considering I didn't try very hard and spent little time there because I was hot and thirsty. I also found a few washers, a big screw and several bottle tops. Anyway, that's better than I did the last time I spent a few hours at a casino or playing the lottery so I'll take it! I also realized how out of shape I am! This is work, but I love it. I think I need a better "digging tool" and some gloves.

Sounds like you are off and running. Wait till you dig up that first ring or really old coin. You will be doing the happy dance. If I wear gloves and usually this is only when it is cold out I were the mechanics gloves. I got them at Napa. They fit your hands really tight so you don't have to take them off ever 2 minutes to do something. Also I would recommend the Lesche digging tool. It cost a bit more but it works really well. Keep us posted !!

DonnaM, get you a Lesche, and what I call driving gloves, thin leather gloves, and cut the fingers out. leaves your fingers free and protects the palm. Works good

You are getting better already. Everytime you find something, that machine is teaching you. Keep up the good work. On digging tool, visit some the site sponsors of site they have all the tools and they ship very fast.
