Default Maybe Out Of My Slump ~ A Couple Of Silvers

Hit a couple of new spots late Sunday afternoon with absolutely no results (the trend continues). Thought about giving up and heading home but opted to try one more spot (a vacant lot in town where an old house used to stand). I hunted this place once about 2 years ago without much success. I only had about an hour to hunt before dark but I'm glad I did. This time I took it slow, increased the sensitivity, and dug all signals (something I should have done last time). I only covered about a third of the lot but dug one silver quarter (1964), one silver dime (1961), three wheats (1947, 1952, 19??), a little clad, a compact lid, a circular pin of some type, some type of decorative piece, a broken knife blade, and a tag of some type (bad shape). I needed this outing to help get over the somewhat lack of luck that I've had for the past couple of weeks (several new sites with permission, good weather, but zero keeper finds).

It is nice to get out of a slump.
We all have them once in a while.

Nice work! Glad you got to walk away with some keepers. Nothing worse on the moral when you walk away empty handed. I'd say your slump is over.

Nice finds. I have been there as well. I think concentration wavers and I don't dig some signals I should. Many times I dig so much junk that I start digging only high tones. I have walked away more than once with nothing to show, but knowing there are some keepers there.
