Default First Time Out Ever - What Fun

Well the weather here in MN is finally nice. Got out yesterday with my son at an old farm house for a couple of hours. Found a lot of junk metal and 1 dime along with one penny. Nothing special but am still in the learning phase. We had a blast and my 7 year old proudly took his new found coins to school for show and tell. Like the other kids have never seen a dime and a penny . Going out again today, happy hunting all.

Dan

Hi Dan. I'm new to this myself and I must say I've had more fun on the playgrounds listening to the kids comment on what I'm doing. I heard one this weekend say to his friend "that's neat where do those come from" and his friend replied "I'm sure they come from Florida". I was laughing to myself. I said "It came from Texas and I got it on Ebay". The first kid said "I'm going straight to my Granny's and get on Ebay". Seems like kids are just fascinated with these machines. My 15 year old son just calls me a nerd. (which btw I tell him I'm proud of). He likes to do it too as long as nobody is around!!??!!
