More silver in the Ballroom lot

I've been back to the ballroom parking lot twice.
Silver both times.

Sunday for about two hours:
1. Worn 1944 Wash quarter.
2. Worn 1924 merc.
3. Nice 1964 Roos. dime.

Last night (Monday) for about two hours:
1. My second WL half (1937) in less than a week!!

There is a huge area here, and I have only just scratched the surface.
Still no sign of paving equipment!
I don't think its going to dry out any time soon - I can only hope (heh heh).

Make that 3 halves from the Ballroom. went for 1/2 hour last night and found my first silver coin finally...

2 memorial pennies, and a '44 WL half.
plus some trash...

more finds at the ballroom, but nothing spectacular.... the area where the silver came from has been worked over pretty hard...

metalhead went over thursday late afternoon, but I haven't talked to him to see what he found...

I went Friday from 9:00am - Noon. 26 deg and Windy!!!! but at least the ground wasn't frozen...

I found:
2 sets of keys
bent up bracelet (tin)
blue glass ball (not round like a marble)
Parker Pen Top
MasterMechanic Utility knife
lawnmower blade
lots of screwtops/tabs
1 clad quarter,
3 clad dimes
3 memorial pennines
2 wheaties. (47D, 47S)

the wheaties came from the same area as the WL halves....
