Same Old Yard Less Time To Hunt
I really couldn't get after it like I wanted and you have to consider that out of every coin seen is this PIC about 5 to 10 surface piece's were also picked up and trashed. 16 newer pennies, 4 dimes, Brass screw, Mini piece of copper, Last but not least was a heavy sterling military ring, It locked in as a quarter and was 7 in's deep. I'm not sure if it's Army air corps, or medical. Has wings and a propeller in center, Eagle's on the side with shields underneath. Made my day pulling that silver out of black soil. It's slightly bent but can be straightened, Needs cleaned up and researched. Anyone who knows for certain what branch of service it is from???? And I only had a little over an hour to search today, I earned this one.

Wow!
That ring is really a great find! When I saw it I turned to my husband and was like oh my god this ring as the same thing you had on your beret on it! lol ok I am easily excited but with him being a blackhawk crew chief I thought it was exciting...but he said it wasnt the same and that its not a crew chiefs ring and that it is a pilots ring an officers ring and that they wear them all the time. So I am not sure if other branches use them but I do know that the army does so that is my guess!
