Default Bad Barber and musket balls

I hunted a field for 3 hours today and found this blackened and damaged barber plus a couple more musket balls.
That field has prolly been plowed 80 times since the dime was dropped so I guess damage is inevitable.
Good hunting to all. Great weather

Even a damaged barber is better than no barber.
You might try Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish on it, that should take off most of the black and will not hurt the coin. You can get it at any auto parts store.

I think it is a great find, finding a damaged barber is also better then finding trash.

Nice find! I agree with everyone else... a 'bad' barber is good in my book.
