Default Confederate Reed Shell Find

At the beginning of the month I posted a Confederate Reed Fuse I found during the DIV hunt, I was ecstatic to say the least finding it.

Yesterday my hunting partner and I hit a new spot and did not expect to find what we did. He found a whole Confederate side loading Cannon Ball and later that day I found a whole Confederate Reed Shell. Neither the Cannonball nor Reed Shell had exploded so we will have to have them disarmed ASAP.

Thanks for looking,

Ed

Great Digs Ed. Sure wish you'd post them over at the sister site Civil War Quest. We would love to have you post them there as well!

Great finds for sure! I dug a live 50 caliber shell one time and didn't like that feeling. That thing is a couple of 50 calibers...
