OK, so I posted the wrong shot with the original post.

I was logging this week's finds and realized I have been back thrice.
4/17 - 1936 merc., 1954d rosy
4/19 - 1940 wash., 1942s merc.
I guess suffice to say, I am still doing well here.
--------------------------------------------original post below-----
I have been back to the ballroom lot a couple of times since my last post.
On Thursday (4/19) I had plans to hit some different areas.
Plans don't always pan out - fellow ballroom digger McBrat stopped by for 30 minutes, and by the time I cleaned up some recent pocket dumps by the car - he was ready to leave. He told me he only found two coins - a wheat cent and a "buffalo" - he had been over in the area that has yeilded four 'Walkers' and plenty of other silver so far. I was pretty sure by the matter-of-fact way he said it, he would show me a Kansas or Dakota state quarter, but it was a buffalo nickel!
So my DFX guided me to the high-yield silver area again.
By the time the sun went down I had upped my 2007 silver face total to $3.50. First was a 1940 Wash quarter, and 2nd a 1942s merc. The merc. gave me a time finding it. The partial rusty washer in the photo was what I centered on, and the dime was in the side of the hole. I nicked it with the digger - bummer

- oh well - not the first, and I'm sure it won't be the last time.
I also found a nice green 1931 Canadian cent, '52d wheat, and a St. Chis. medal.
----I went out again on Saturday 4/21...
