Default 1878 silver dollar !

I got permission to hunt the yard of an old house in town.I was looking for the survey stakes in exchange for hunting the yard.I found 1 of the stakes now just gotta get a tape and find the rest.I did a quick search to see what kind of treasures i could find and dug up a bunch of old toys and the silver dollar. It's in realy bad shape as i think it may have been in a coal fire.I'll be going back soon !

Default Thanks all !

I was thinking this might be fake but i've cleaned er up a bit and I'm pretty sure it's real.I found it in some coal ash.I found a merc. in coal ash last year that was in even worse shape.Must be highly acidic cuz that coin isent coming clean unless i use a grinder on it ! Still a cool find and ya never know might be more ! We will see BRITE and EARLY tomorrow morning !
