Default What a Way To Start May: Big Silver

I decided to hunt the lot next to mine again this afternoon for a quick hunt. As I was walking over, I decided to walk toward the front of my property by the drive instead of straight across like usual. While walking I looked down and found a lincoln cent on top of the ground. Thought to myself,"Don't even have to dig this one. Maybe that is a good sign for today." I bent over and picked it up and as I was raising back up my coil moved and gave me a tone. It was another Lincoln a couple inches deep. Dug it and started swinging again. About 5 feet further got a tone that was ID'ing as a 50 cent piece and occasionally a dollar. Jokingly said to my self, "here's my next half or dollar" figured it was a top to a soda can or something. Cut a plug and removed it. Took out a shovel full of dirt from down about 6 inches and out rolled a BIG SILVER coin. Picked it up and it was this 1951S Franklin Half Dollar. The only thing I could say was Amazing and thank God for being so good to me. This is my first Franklin Half but my third Half this year. The two previous were a Barber and a Walking Liberty. I never did make it out of my yard and over to the lot I have been hunting. Stayed right in the same area but did not pull out anything else. This year is going great so far. I sure hope it keeps up. Happy Hunting All.

Thanks for the replies. Rip I only wish that pattern would hold true. A Kennedy was my first half (found last year) but it wasn't silver. I sure would love to go back to the begining on halves. Good Luck All.
