Default First medal!

Still hunting my own backyard. Bought a vibraprobe so I went out to test it out tonight. I was hunting in coin mode and found what looks to be a bullet with the probe. Got tired of digging junk so I switched to coin mode and within a few seconds I got a strong hit that I thought would be a quarter. This medal popped out and boy was I shocked! It was down about 3 inches. This is my first piece of real jewelry. It has a marking on the back which is very small and cannot be read. I'll have to get a magnifier but I'm sure it is silver. It is heavy and came out so shiny.

Added: I checked the medal under a magnifier and it is definitely marked sterling. The bullet has lines going vertically from the bottom edge, up around 1/4 inch.

Really nice finds. How do you like that Vibraprobe? Fell in love with mine, won't leave home without it. HH

It worked well. I found the bullet with it and I'm not sure I would have found it otherwise. It is so close in color to the soil.

Great finds, WTG ! Those bullets are very hard to find, the vibraprobe sure comes in handy for those " invisible" targets.
