Default First time out.

Well today was my first day of real hunting. Went to the park with my 3 year old. He had tons of fun running around like a little hyperactive toddler that he is. I was able to add for the first time to my clad count. 2 penny, 1 nickel, 1 key and one junk ear ring (but it is still jewelery). Of and plenty of broken glass and bottle caps. About 1 hour of hunting.

Don't feel bad. I was watching the rain on Friday when I got my MD in the mail. My son is going out with his aunt on Sunday so I will get out and do some searching myself. Also next weekend my son is going out to his grandparents and I will be going to my first beach hunt. So I have plans. There is still a lot of places to cover in the park. I need to make myself a sand scoop to make the playground easier to search. Getting a lot of hits at 6+ inches, I did not dig those because I am still learning my MD. I know 7 cents is not much but I was just very happy to find some sort of money.

OK scanner is working. Lets see if I can do this right. Nothing to look at really. I think the one thing is part of a broken tool or something. Keeping it on my key chain for good luck since it was the first thing I ever found. Oh and that is a penny inside the ear ring. Almost can't tell but I can barely make out the back of it.

Hmmmm how do you do the thumbnails?
