Default My Best Large Cent.

Hello all. I went back to that old house where I found all the buckles the other day and I found this 1841 Large Cent. I didnt clean it, it has the most details I have ever got on a large cent. It is my favorite. I never find them fully readable. Either the back side is good and the front is shot or the whole thing is shot. I am very happy about this one.

I hate when that happens ! Darn also hate when i hit submit with out finishin what i was gunna say ! Ment to say Congrats to GF on the large cent ! You might want to try the hot peroxide trick on er GF ! I've used it on some of my large cents and they came out great.I also soak them in virgin olive oil for just a few min.after the peroxide.

Forgive this question. I have been hearing a lot about the large cents and they look pretty cool. I tried to look them up on e-bay just to gather more information. Are large cents just Canadian? Give me a few months at this and I will start picking stuff up.

Thank you for the information. Now I need to try to continue me research on older places to start hunting. I have a few ideas.
