Default 50 coin day: my silver guarded by 3 tough hombres

From the land of the Bluenose....loaded up Goquickski's boot at the crack of dawn and cruised out on a super nice day to try my first combo dig of the year. Headed to a local beach/park and started with a land dig to get the blood flowing and give my marbles a good shaking. Must have shook to hard for I lost them.

Managed a few pennies while cutting my legs on the thorn bushes and soon retreated to the calm, clear water that is still a tad on the cold side with this bouy sweating big time with the chest wadders on. In the shallow water I eyeballed three tough looking hombres that I rescued from the drink and later turned into guards for my days loot. Then made my way to a local sports field to round out the day.

A few hours passed and it was time to head out to pick up Marie and get ready for the first ball practise of the year. Imagine I'll be a tad stiff tomorrow so with that in mind I stopped and picked up Bud to console me during my convalescence this evening before I head out tomorrow to Noel for a two day dig at an old farm with a bouy from work who just happened to dig up a cannonball while putting in his garden. Not excited at all..............not!

Take for the day was two marbles (think they were the ones I lost earlier), three men at arms with an ammo cart minus the wheels, kids ring, sterling "R" signet ring (going to hae to put that puppy through the rock tumbler big time) and 72 coins @$6.47

Very nice finds. I love the signet ring and it looks pretty old. I hope the boring hunt goes well tomorrow and the next day. Good luck, and if you find a cannonball, don't drop it on yer foot, k?

Sounds and looks like you got a pretty good haul. Make sure you share a picture of the ring once it is cleaned up.
