Default Beach finds

Beach finds of the day. Well hit my first beach today. Finds are as follows. 1 nickel, 5 pennies, 1 bottle cap, 2 rusty nail (ouch), 2 pop tops and 2 hair pins..............oh and the $130 watch .

So I found this watch (see attachment) and i did not think much of it. Looked nice but figured with my luck it was nothing great. So I stuffed it in my pocket and thought no more of it. Well when I got it home and showed it to my fiance she thought it could be worth something. She was saying over a hundred and I thought she was nuts. So to prove her wrong I guess, I went online and put in the brand name "Pulsar". Got a rush when the intro to the site talks about diamonds right away. Well I have looked through all the watches online and did not find this one. But going with the prices of the other watches I would put this somewhere between $120 - $170!!!

So you see that little clad counter below that has the count down to when the MD pays for itself? Well I think I could remove that. Going to keep it for now though. I will post more information latter. I think I am going to take it to a local jewelers store and see what they say. Oh and if you want to look at the manufactures site it is Pulsar Home

Not sure how well you can see it in the picture but it appears to have about 28 diamond chips (missing 1). If anyone has any information about this that would be great. There seems to people on here that know just about everything about everything.

Default Great find!

I could be wrong, but I think that Pulsar watches are made made by Citizen.

Thanks for the information. All I can say is wow. I looked through those and got this information. Assuming that they are made by that company I have learned that the 2 tone is not gold but rather stainless steal and it is mother-of-pearl. The diamonds could very well be real. I saw one on that site that looked close to the one I have. It can be viewed at CITIZENWATCH.com | Welcome to Citizen Watches Online

Sorry for the large link but want to supply information so others might be able to help me. Well as I said, that one is close, it has 20 diamonds and this one (assuming it is real) has 28 diamonds. The one on the site is $450 I can not wait to go to the jewelers tomorrow. I have a ton of work to do around the house (moving 3 bedrooms around) but I am going to have to make time for this.

Default Rusty nails on the beach?

Sounds like footwear is in order on this beach.

Oh, and nice, ... er AWESOME jewelry find.

I have never had much luck on beaches, however, I don't hit them much.
Maybe I should!!!

Great find!

btw: The link to Pulsar you provided says it is copyright SEIKO WATCH CORPORATION.

Thank you Metal Head for the further information that I seemed to have missed. Looks like I am still looking at $200 or more. This is just so freaking wild. I do not plan on selling it any time soon, told my fiance that I want to but a small lock box so I know for a fact that I will not lose it. She said I should carry it as a good luck charm when MDing. Good idea but told her there is no way I am going to risk losing it, so not doing that. I need to go out for some hot water heater parts on Sunday and then go pick up my son from my moms place so the jewelery store might have to wait until Monday. But like I said, I will keep everyone updated.

**Edit to add
Well if the jewelery store does not work then there are 3 pulsar dealers near me.
