Mother's day weekend
Yesterday was a beautiful day!!! I started out the day with the usual, cleaning...those dreaded bills....and thought boy this is going to be a great day to get out and enjoy some sunshine!!!!...My brother came by and had some yard sale finds...and have to add he made some great purchases...He wanted me to check out a chain he bought...But I am no jewelry expert, and tried the detector over it to see if it was silver...came up in the foil range....that one I think was a cheepy....But he had some other very interesting old items he had purchased for a little of nothing!!!!
As I was waving the detector over the chain...I noticed something to the side in the dirt...so I started digging it out...Ha it was a ring!!!! Didn't need the detector this time...just found it looking around...I looked at them and said got the detector in hand and found another ring...they just laughed!!! This one I found without the detector!!!! I was excited...thinking I had better get somewhere and try to find some rings...looked like it was going to be a ring weekend!!! Turned out to be my daughters ring she lost a few years back!!! I thought that was neet!!!! Well my day didn't turn out to great after that I ended up with a stomach virus of all days...that was going to be great to get out doors!!! Well to give me something to post about cause I haven't been able to do much detecting lately...I thought I would ask a few questions and see what ideas you all come up with!!!!! It was Mother's day and I decided to do something I enjoy for the day What was it?????? Fishing or Detecting....As I love them both!!!!!! Wonder who can guess this one???????? Thought I would change this up a bit!!!!!!!!! Geezzzzeee I need something to post about since I haven't been able to do much detecting lately!!!!!!  And Perry LOL!!!! Don't give the answer to my bring home prize for a bit...I shall post a pic soon!!!! Will check back tomorrow to see if anyone posts Pat

Hi there Pat !
I was wondering were you was hiding !I also havent had much time to detect lately but i whent fishing yesterday and cought a nice rainbow trout ! What did ya find now,Im guessing a fish ring ! lol

 But that was going to be my next question...you will have to weight( no pun intended) lol!!!! We were talking yesterday...wouldn't that be funny to catch a fish with a mouth piercing!!!! Will check in after work....Anymore guessesFishing or Detecting HH to everyone... Pat

My guess is that you rigged your MD up with a reel and some line and you were fishin' while you were detectin'. You're so smart, Pat!!
Hey, not sure if you know this or not, but it's not natural, you know... you findin' all those rings. Are you bewitched or somethin'?

bbq...Now wouldn't that be to funny to pull in a fish with a mouth piercing!!!! That would just be too much!!!!!
 That would sure be a story to tell!!!! Pris....Now that sounds like the right invention for someone to come up with!!!! That would just top it all!!!! Love that answer!!!!!!! You are giving me ideas!!!!! I could attach a jig and as I am swaying that detector along the bank...I might could pull in a prize catch of the day along with some nice gold or silver!!!!....Supper and gold and silver at the same time...couldn't ask for anything better!!!!! lol!!!!!! Well, you guys..........it was detecting!!!!!!!! Early that morning, and then I ventured out to the lake, My son and his aunt did the fishing while I did the sand fishing!!! I enjoyed the day very much and every once in awhile I would rest awhile and watch them do the fishing, crossed the state line and ya just got to have them fishing license!!!!!! Will have to take some of that clad I have saved up and get me an out of state fishing license, cause they were tearing up the catfish!!!! We all had a great time!!! Here are my finds...and thanks for letting me share pics...and enjoyed the answers!!! I also am adding a pic of my niece...she is 17 months old and I love her dearly....I asked her to smile for me and this is what I got!!!! Just loved this pic and thought I would share!!!!!! HH to all!!!! Found a ring first thing....has 24k....the sad thing is...is that I believe it it just electroplated...not sure about the stones...Maybe a Ruby and two diamond chips...if it is real...will be checking this one out..... Also I have some of the items displayed on an old relic...that I call a metal hat......Think it is an old hub cap....Anyone know the answer to that one....Looks like an old metal hat to me!!!! LOL!!!! HH to everyone and hope all the mother's had a great Mother's day!!!! Pat Trying a new program for pics so I hope they turn out...The ring had markings in it...but after 40 the eyes are not doing so good anymore...Not even with my eye loop could I make these out.... Nice haul there Pat !
Your niece is a cutie,bet she'll love that photo when she's older ! I did a little fishin yesterday myself,cought a nice little rainbow trout ! Now if i can catch a couple more i can have dinner !

Sounds like you had a nice day Pat. A precious photo of Your niece. Nice finds. The hat thing looks like an old hard hat, but looks to small for that, so I don't have a clue. I think You may just be the true ring Queen. Hope you have many more good days and times with the family. Rip that Trout sounds good, how do ya cook it up!!!....we put it in foil and smoke it on the grill when we get the chance to do a little trout fishing...We have to go North just a little bit for trout, so don't have it very often.
Earl if I ever catch one with a piercing I will snap a pic of it for sure...lol!!! If it is a hard hat...someone had a small head, is very heavy, maybe off of a tractor or something like that....Still looks like a hat with the brim flipped up!!!! lol!!! Pris...I use to watch bewitched and just loved that show...guess I got a nack for twitching that nose every now and then!!!!! lol!!!!!!!! I just hope I don't lose that nack!!!!!!! Well till my next adventure!!!!! Might be a mess of fish with a piercing!!!!!! Hopefully a hook piercing Pat
