Default Silver & Gold?

I have been getting in some short afternoon hunts lately between getting off work and heading out to the ballfields. I took the day off today and hunted a couple of hours at a site I haven't hunted in awhile. It gave up a pocket watch which is still cleaning up and a 1943 Merc. My other item from the short hunts appears to have been maybe a ring. It was found in the same shape as pictured. It came out of the ground as it looks except for wiping the dirt off. It appears to be gold that is bonded to a copper band. I can't find any markings on it and it has been broken at some point when the farmers were cutting land. Anyone seen anything like this before? All help is appreciated.

I don't remember ever seeing a ring with a design like that one has.

But you did have a nice day that's for sure.
