Trash Day

Had today off, so I went to the park again.

Finding things better now that I am getting the hang of it.

However, seems like for every 20 bottle caps or pull tabs I dug up, I found 1 penny!
Well my finds today were:
2 quarters, 1 1970 and a 2006
7 penny's, oldest one that I can tell was 1963, a couple are so crusted over I could barely make out the Lincoln Memorial.

I think I did a fairly good job of cleaning out the area I was working though!

Found bottle caps, pull tabs, wire, a screw, a nail, bits of foil and a small white metal thing with a rose on it, think it came from a hair clip.

With the exception of the coins and the small white metal thing with a rose on it, the rest went in to the trash.

With all the little stuff your finding, you can bet your are getting the hang of it.
Just keep on digging everything and the GOOD stuff will come, without a doubt.

I would have loved to taken the day off and found nothing but trash !!! congrats on the finds !!!
