Default Skeleton Key

Found this skeleton key and St. Christopher medal at two seperate parks, using my Ace 250. My finds have been nothing but clad lately and its getting really frustrating. Today went MDing with my sister AND my dad, he bought a radio shack detector so he could join us in our hunts, it was fun having dad with us. I didn't find much today, just a few pennies Dad found some clad also, my sister found two toy tokens in our neices backyard. I included a pic of them, but didn't come out very good. On the back of them they say " Man in Space" Fronts say Mercury III.....Alan Shepard. The other one says Gemini and the name of another space guy( can't remember what it said) They are not silver, possibly aluminum, they are lightweight. A pretty cool find. She also found 12 pennies in one hole at this park we went to today.....and then when we got to our neices yard, she found 15 pennies in one hole again SHe also has the Ace 250. I'm hoping that I will start finding some better things on my next few hunts, I'm getting green with envy seeing all the great things everyone on here has been posting

Default those tokens ARE NOT toys

the gemini and mercury project were the very start of our space program. a find like that would be priceless to me since i am a science geek. keep the faith girl... it will get better.

It sounds like you all had a great day together. 20 years down the road, you will look back and care less about the finds you made - however you will reflect on the moments you went metal detecting with your sister and your dad and realize that was the true treasure of the hunt!

Default family hunt

Family hunts are the best. we take the kids hunting and all have a good time we actually have alittle plastic trophy for the best find and the person holding it judges the hunt. So nice that your dad and sis could join you. Keep searching your treasure is sure to come....

Cool finds!
I hate to say it, but the pic I enjoyed the most was your Dad and sister.
Looks like y'all were having a blast.

A good day with good company! Pretty interesting finds. I suspect they will soon be "hooked"!
