Default Update on the cleaning process of my Confederate Read Shell

A couple of weeks ago I posted a Confederate Read Shell I found as well as the Confederate Cannon Ball my partner found and give an update on the restoration progress.

I left my shell with my hunting partner knowing that he would love to experiment with it on a cleaning process. Although this was my first shell I trusted him 100% to do whatever he wanted to try to restore it.

All I can say is “WOW” he did it again, and even disarmed it. Check this before and after picture out, it is awesome and he is not even done yet.

He has also disarmed and started the restoration process on his Cannon Ball. He has done an amazing job on it and it going to display nicely, I saw it this evening and it is awesome.

Some of you have asked that I post my Civil War finds on the TQ Civil War forum, I am sorry to say that I have made every attempt to do so BUT for some reason my password does not work there. I have had it reset but still not able to post.

Happy Hunting to all,

Ed (Ed from Appomattox)

Another View after some cleaning.

Another View.
