Default Farm Finds

Got out today for about 5 hours to my Buddies farm, of which he has 8 acres of land, one side is a Peach orchard, the other side is woods and a HUGE yard...He has one standing barn and out buildings attached, one downed barn from heavy snow and the age of the barn, 163 years old, and a silo...Took the PrismV and Ace250 with the Sniper Coil...Ended up using the Ace250 more than the PrismV because of its super pinpointing capabilites, not to mention the 86 pounds of junk that I recovered...Found one small Pocket Spill of 2 Quarters, one being a 1965...Soooooo close to silver, but I know its there...I must have stood in an area no larger than 10 square feet for an hour and a half, getting good signals and digging, digging, digging...But, as always everytime I go out, I learn a little each time...Here's some of the finds...Thanks for watching..HH...

Nice finds Boobird.---That badge might be worth some good money on E-Bay if it is authentic and old. I could not tell from the pic.
Old badges are a hot item and some sell for over $500.
Best luck

Thanks Merf...

Here's a closeup of the badge...For being so small its got a little weight to it and was in great shape...I was thinking of going to the Fire department and see if someone lost it recently...The town it came from is in farm country and is a small town...My buddy didn't know of any firemen from that town and maybe it was lost when a previous owner had the farm? HH

Does he plan on doing anything with that 163 year old barn? Because if plans on burning it or whatever that would be awesome land to hunt. Detecting land that you know has had some good foot traffic for 163 years. /drool

Also never know if a farmer a long time ago wanted to hide his loot.

Yeah your right. I can not remember why but I was looking at site that sold that old barn wood the other night. Boobird, since it will be your idea you could split the profits and depending on the size of the barn that could be some real nice profits.

Well Journey,

He's already got plans to salvage the wood from the barn and use it...I'm just so fortunate he told me I could come over and MD ANY time I wanted to...I have a "diamond in the rough" feeling about that place and I spent 5 hours there yesterday and hardly touched it...sooooooo I'll be spending alot of time there in the near future...HH
