Default 13 my lucky number today

Went out to one of my local parks today to see what I could find. It has a small "tot lot" and I went there 1st. I got a quarter signal at about 4", and started to dig, after about 4 big scoops with my sand scoop, I heard the jingle of change in my scoop. Sure enough it was a quarter. I spent about 2 hours at the park, and found 2 dimes, 4 pennies, and 7 quarters (I'm thinking of calling this quarter park now )! I was just a cent shy of $2 in clad, and was quite happy with my finds.

Here's a pic of my finds.

Yes your right about that, I'm actually going to a few local ones this evening. But what really surprised me was that most of the change I found was in the ground. Only found 1 quarter and 1 dime in the tot lot, the rest was out in the park!

Thank you! I added 12 pennies, 7 dimes, 4 quarters, 1 nickel, 1 kids ring, and 1 mystery foreign coin to my total for today. I started another post that has pics of the stuff; I was so proud going from finding soda cans to actual good finds! :)

Cheers

lol, yeah I dug 1 while out finding all those quarters. But now I'm not just digging soda cans (and pull tabs, evil evil pull tabs) but also coins! :) Oh I tried cleaning some of my clad today, and used some Oxiclean on them, worked pretty well got a bunch of junk off. I picked up a rock tumbler but don't have enough to really run it yet.

Cheers
