Backyard does it again!

Nothing really special, went to my old elementary school for a bit after my daughters graduation. YEHAA and found a couple of clad dimes and pennies in some dirt that resembled concrete and figured I could do better in my back yard. (Not to mention I could drink a couple brews there also)

Within minutes pulled up a 46 D and 53 D wheatie. Like I said not much but after that I just quit and tended to the garden and enjoyed a cold one. i'll leave the backyard alone until I need that quick pick me up.

That is a good day for your own yard. I've never found one coin in my yard, and I have over 10 acre's. Go figure.

Yea i think that makes 8 wheaties, one silver ring and that dang New Zealand shilling (that will always puzzle me) plus an old pocket knife that my yard has produced. Plus a bit of clad.

This house was built in abt 1952 and my parents bought it in 1958. Typical subdivision type. I then bought it from them in 1994. I do believe it may have been farm land before.

good finds. my back yard has been a back yard from 1800. well maybe not during slave times but the oldest is a 182? largecent alot of c.w. buttons and bullets. alot of mercs. but it never fails to produce something in all that iron trash. i usally check the fields and other place and hit the yard when its severe storm time or beer time.
