Found out what it is.

"BUFFALO BILL" 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" SQUARE COPPER MEDALLION.

1890 [BUFFALO BILL]. CODY, WILLIAM F. "BUFFALO BILL" 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" SQUARE COPPER MEDALLION. New York: N. J. Schloss & Co., n.d. [ca 1890s]. First edition. A rounded square medallion that has on one side an impressed image of "Buffalo Bill" (William F. Cody) on horseback touching the tip of his hat with one hand and holding a rifle in the other hand. The other side has the maker's imprint in the center, and slogans around the perimeter that read, EXCELLENCE, GOOD QUALITY, ORIGINALITY, and FINE STYLE. A copper pin is attached to the top. The impression of "Buffalo Bill" is very sharp and detailed, however the "B" and "O" in the word "Buffalo" are lightly struck. This medallion is from the Andrew Zabriske Collection that was sold by Sotheby's in 1999. Fine quality.

* USD 875.00
