Default 30 minute hunt

I managed to get in 30 minutes at a local middle school before the sky decided to turn ugly and start to let some lightening go. Hmmm, hundred degree weather, cloudy, no rain and it has to go and let off some lightening.

I have not seen anything like that since I was in Australia! I am not really fond of dry storms.

Well, found 5 dimes, 3 pennies and 2 doodads, one is a pin and says 'Sagebrush Shootout, 1987' and has a soccer ball on it. I have no idea what the other thing it, it looks like a bell, but who knows, one end is threaded.

Sounds like a great way to spend a half hour. I wonder if the threaded bell thing could be part of a little flashlight? Don't you just love things that you bring out of the ground? Who knows what you'll find.

got the little bell shaped thing cleaned off, had some designs on it so I got out a magnifying glass and took a closer look, they were little crosses and some other designs, so an idea hit me and I took it down the street to a Catholic Church, and sure enough, turns out to be a candle snuffer! Just missing the handle.

How cool! You should be a private eye. Great footwork on that one.
