Default Back at it again!!!

Been out of the diggin mode for a bit...sure glad to be back at it again...Charly has a couple of houses, next to where she lives and told me to have at it!!! One of the houses burnt....and they did some dozing to get rid of the remains...I was happy with a few finds....also hit a ball park for some clad.... here are my finds....the spoon was a ladies pin with her name ingraved inside...not sure if you can see it...it says Edna....not sure what the other piece was!!!! But I like anything that looks like costume jewelry.... Also found a couple wheats...both 42's...
Should be some gold down there!!!! if I can get past all the trash!!! and some silver if it didn't get hauled off!!! lol!!!

Hope you all enjoy pics!!!!

HH

Glad you're gettin' back out there. Great finds, Pat! I don't know about you, but I've been reading Free's stuff lately and every time he describes them "scraping" those layers of earth away, it really just sounds so satisfying. I hope you can find lots more from that burnt house site.

side note: I hope nobody was hurt in the fire...

I forgot to mention the 47 nickel...I'm not sure about anyone being in the house at the time of the fire...but sounds like everything that was in the house went up in smoke...laying around in the bottom of what was left of the wood house...I had seen the house before they pushed it down...some of the house still stood... no telling what was hauled off... but sure there are still goodies in the ground...just have to do alot of picking!!!
These houses use to house workers from an old plant...each house looks the same, I mean every house on the blocks look the same...and should go back to the early 1900's, but yet have uncovered a silver yet....Charly dug a wheat from the 30's I beleive!!!!! There must be some silver there!!!! She has two lot's that she can dig...we have hit them a few times but no silver yet!!!! We will keep trying!!!

HH to ya!!!
Pat
