Default First Civil War Button

I found this a couple of days ago and did a little cleaning on it. I thought it was some type of coin when I first saw it in the hole. Took it out and saw it had some type of design on it. The back was smooth. Looked around a little and found a pic of a NC Sunburst Button. What I have appears to be some variation of that. The first is mine and the second a reference pic. Mine is really thin and flat. It may be just the face of the button. The best part of this story is that I found it in my own backyard.

Thanks for all the replies. Bill I was amazed myself. Jon says I need to dig up my entire backyard. I am considering it.
