Meager finds in MI

Was in MI (Allegan area) last weekend for some R & R. Last time there (last September) I tried some playgrounds in Otsego and Plainwell and oh was it poor. Never was in any 'major' towns this time so I just detected around the cottage and a few gravel lots where they launch boats.

Even the fishing/parking lots in the middle of nowhere were poor. Detectorists everywhere I guess! Ended up with 25 cents (no wheaties, 1 canadian), 2 dimes and 1 quarter.

Here's some fishing tackle I found, most of the weights were found in a small 2' x 2' area.

That's too bad, Oz, but at least you got out and enjoyed the sunshine. That's what I tell myself when I get skunked. It's just fun to dig in the dirt.

Maybe that was a sign that the fish are biting.

The next time you go there just take along your fishing pole.

Better luck next time, but the good thing is that you did get out and get some finds.
