7 Stones & 14 Karats
Hit the beach early this morning. There were about 10000 people there last night for the fireworks. There were a total of 6 MDers there this morning. Two very nice chaps, two no-talkers, 1 very rude fellow who kept running over to get in front of where ever I headed, and me. Still a good hunt, esp. after he left. Lots of junk, 1.24 in clad, a watch (still working) and a very nice 14k white gold ring with seven
 diamonds. By far my most valuable find to date .

Very nice, Arkwater! I wonder who taught that line cutter to hunt. He sounds like my cat. Everywhere I walk, my cat is right in front of me, causing me to have to walk....very.....slowly, until I just step over him, of course.

Update! Appraisal!
Took the ring by the jeweler this morning to get a verbal value. He tested the stones (all were real), and estimated the value around $350.
 Needless to say I was very pleased.
