That's a fantastic day! How long were you out there? Hey Coilcop, I forgot, what machine are you using? You would be a perfect commercial for whatever it is.

Schools were definitely the place to be. Now if that rain would drop a little further south instead of the PA/MD border, I would be happy, man the ground is hard and dry in VA.

Very a good day for you COILCOP. Congrats on the coins.

Thanks all. Pris, I am using a White's XLT. I'm still learning the machine, and have not used nearly 30% of its capability. This machine is probably overkill for someone like me, but as I grow in this hobby, I'm sure I'll begin to hone in on its extensive features. I'm not sure what the rest of you run into when out detecting, but it appears that most places I have been to, are not detected at all. The place that I know get detected a lot are at the beach, hardly ever find anything there. I am still waiting on the huge storm, as I live on the coast in Connecticut, and when that next Noreaster blows it's gales on the shore of New England, I'll be the first on the beach when it ebbs.
