Default 50 coin day: a few first for a newbie!

From the land of the Bluenose......Tony the Tiger arrived right on time and sure knows the drill already arriving with Tim's in hand. No slouches in the land of the Bluenose four shore youz.

Thought we would head out to a school/playground that I have never done but after the 20 minute trip with Otto just a soaking up the roadway like a sponge we arrived to find that the school board workers were cuttig the grass so we switched to plan "X" and hit another school yard that had been pounded by the late Bardman and I on numerous occasions. It was amazing how many coins we found in a short time with most very close or on the surface. Heat was wearing us down so we hit Tim's and did the dew then motored out to another park that was fairly busy with sunbathers and "rugratius maxius" who were fresh out of school for the summer frolicking in the water. Of course at this time I was longing bigtime to take the plunge and do a swish.
Wasn't long here before Tony T hit his first ring which , even though a kids one was exciting for he and I as the smile on his face was one of those ear to ear jobbies! Still can't figure what the bouy was doing in this photo...looking for falling pieces of skylab I suspect?

Place was hopping so we decided to go back to the school field and finish off the dig. Here Tony found his first looney and no not the one he came a digging with. Here is Tony's take for the day which wasn't bad for his second time out with this old bouy.

I settled for a kids medal, pencil sharpener and 73 coins @ $8.93 which I took and brought 4 649 lotto tickets....one never knows!
