Default Landed my first RING!!!

Spent a little time at the old Aldie school (circa built wayback when) uncovered a lot of old metal and iron. Also some old burnt coal, the place is full of it. Does not suprise me for a school that old. Probably need a smaller coil to get at all the signals I encountered.
Also spent a little time at the old Arcola school (Circa@early 1800s, would be my guess on the first school that was built on the spot) The school is now closed, and a park is/has been buit behind it. Searched that area and yippeee, I found my first ring, a mens wedding band, just under the mulch about 1 inch. See pictures below. Collected about 1.05 in clad, which included one of the 1976 bicentennials quarters. Have not seen many of those in a while. It got to hot and was still very dry even after the rain on the 4th and 5th. So I had to stop and head home.

Special note: For those of you out there that are still struggling with finding stuff, keep on it. I only get about 4 or 5 hours on the weekend, the better I learn my machine, the more it is paying off! Hang in there!

Default Thanks everyone!

Sure is nice to have everyone pulling for each other and supporting each other as you all do.

BigJohn, I was and am hoping to run across some of that CW stuff around those schools. Just give me a little more time, I will be on top of it. I would love to just find one buckle or a bullet. It would make my day.
