Default Some finds from this week

Got out a bit on the 4th -- tried the flat below a local rock-climbing cliff where I pulled up a nice silver/amber earring. The rest all came either on the 4th or yesterday from a local park, including ring number 24 (silver/turquois, looks to be home-made), a turtle pendant, and a bowling Snoopy charm. Also lots of clad and a half-dozen or so wheats. Happy hunting, ya'all!

Thank you, Pris. It makes it easy for me to catalog what I've found as well. Just a pic of each unique item kept in my picture folder makes it easy to share with friends and family; and it's just fun to go back and look, even if a ring goes AWOL 'cause the wife likes to wear it *LOL*.

Happy hunting everyone!

Technique is pretty simple for these photos. I do a lot of photography, but very little of it is digital. Most is chrome films. But, for these pics, I just have a cheep digital camera and a light box. I place the item on the light box, put the camera in macro mode, always use flash for fill light, and presto, instant picture. Sometimes, it is necessary to put a white card/reflector over the item to ensure the flash fills properly.
