Default 50 coin day: Tri silver and Tony "T" does 1st quota

From the land of the Bluenose.....the rain was coming down so hard that it woke me up. Four a.m...couldn't get back to sleep so I fired up the computer and checked the detecting sites and made breakfast for Marie and I who, I might add was not a happy camper being woke up at that time of the morning...................think the tv was too loud.

By the time breakfast was over the rain had subsided as Marie went out the door to work. Tony the "Tiger" arrived promptly at 9 a.m. and we were off to the races hitting a virgin school/playing field in the East Hants area.

Day had done a complete reversal and it was so muggy that one thought they were in the deep south and should be sipping a mint julip on the porch of the plantation while dressed in white and sporting a fedora to keep the sun off the face. Coins came at a good pace and Tony T displayed his mastering of the Freedom 2 and was merrily a digging. Had to take several water breaks to cool off and cool down.

After one break Tony "T" hit a pin and soon afterwards had achieved his first 50 coin day reaching 51 coins @ $5.60.

Managed a nice HRM pin myself
as well as 86 coins @ $14.01 including a 1957 and 1959 dime as well as a 1952 George quarter.

Think the newbie is hooked by the look on his face in this photo.

Day was done and we drove back to my place passing this odd machine on the way which Tony informed me was a mobile sawmill..fancy that one me bouy!

Arriving home I emptied my pockets of coins and Marie relieved me of the folding money in my wallet. Payday was great for about......ummmm.......five minutes.

Showered and refreshed it was off to work at the ball field for a ladies double hitter. Games went smoothly save for the foul tip that "Johnson Cup" caught that threw me for a loop. Of course the ladies got a good laugh out of that one..............you're outttttttttta here!

Default Nice haul Leslie & tony

137 coins is a pretty nice haul for one day with silver even. What is the coin behind and to the right of the loonie in Tony's pile??? HH and congrats on your first 50 coin day Tony.
