Thumbs up Sidewalk search finally yields something

Saw a corner house with the sidewalk removed so I detected it on my way into work yesterday. Although I found nothing where the sidewalk was, I did find some silver and a wheatie adjacent to it I also found a clad quarter, dime and about 10 cents in mem's and Zlincolns. After searching almost 3 blocks worth of torn up sidewalks I finally find more than all the sidewalks searches combined.

The quarter was less than 2'' down.

The Rosie was just under the surface, perhaps scooped out from the sidewalk fill?

Some wheatie, who knows what year?

And not a sidewalk find, but a recent park find - I can't make a post without a cheap-o bling-bling :0)

Great finds..

I've noticed in alot of places here where sections of sidewalks are being taken up and repaired..
I've thought about hitiing those areas myself but they are just like 2 sections here and there...

But would like to find the silver though..

I am so happy for you that your hunt finally yielded something that you were wanting. Maybe it will give up at least a little bit more.
