interesting find

I went back to where I dug all the musketballs, and dug 6 more, along with a few coins. I did find an interesting item, which I will post a pic of when I get a chance. It has engraved in it: Patented July 16 1907. I tried to see if I could find what it was, and it may be an old spring clip to an old lantern. The spring clip actually still works. Maybe when I get a photo up, someone may share an idea of what it could be.
