First Finds of The Year
Took my old White's Classic I out of the closet on Wednesday and loaded it up with some fresh batteries. I grabbed my Sennheiser 555 headphones (so very comfy) and went down the street to the nearby elementary school and hit the sandy part of the playground for about and hour before nightfall. I swept the areas under the swings and a few spots around the jungle gym. I really just wanted to get a feel for the old girl again and ended up with a decent handful of loot. The final tally was 6 dimes, 1 nickle, 5 pennies( all clad), a sterling silver cross earring, and a jean's button. Definately looking forward to more hunting. Planning on hitting the beaches at South Haven on a day off next week.
