Unhappy 30 Minutes at old bus stop

Was early enough before coming to work to stop by an old bridge that use to be a Grayhound bus stop years ago. Found 1 wheatie 53 1 nickel 47 and a quarter. I was parked on the side of the road and had seen a man cutting grass on his 15 acre lot on the back of the property. After my 1/2 hr. of MDing he pulls his tractor right behind my truck and starts reving the engine and hollering move your dam truck so I can cut my grass. I'm like you got 15 acres to cut and you come pull up behind me on state property to cut this little spot. ???????? He started inching up to my truck waveing his hands and I could see this was not going too good so I hurried to my truck and left before it got real ugly. Some people. Sometimes I wonder. With a Church acros the street too.

Some people just like to be rude, they thrive on it. He was probably a bully in school.

That sounds about right. That sounds like something that would happen to me. Now that the grass is cut where you were parked, you should go back. He will be pulling up behind you to spray some herbicide or something, but you may uncover something really good! Keep up the great work!

You just have to ignore certain people. Should have sat there and spun the wheels with the brake on so he choked and passed out. either that or put the truck in reveerse and started inching back his way reving. See how he liked it. As for the finds. Sure beats nothing..Congrat's

Hey Kent,
You are always going to run into them kind of people. 2 options, 1 leave and come back later or 2 go and try to strike up a conversation with them. Option 2 has opened up some really great hunting areas for me. I've found most of the time they are really interested in what you are doing, but they are afraid to ask or feel embarased about the want too feeling they get when they see us having fun at our hobbie.
Anyhow, it looks like you found a nice spot to find some keepers. Good luck.
