My First Real Beach Day!

Hey all,

I'm a newbie at this, but wanted to share. I did my first real day at the beach on Sunday. I was out there with my Ace 250, and despite it not being that great at the beach, I thought I did darn fine job of it.

Spent about 5 hours searching. I went with a friend from another board, and while we were down there, we ran into about 6 other people combing the same beach.

My loot for the day: $3.92 in change, three toy cars, a mini flashlight, and a metal rope thing. Have no idea what it is, perhaps the strap of a purse. It rang gold on the meter, however, I"m sure it is just plated.

Coin count: 10 Quarters
9 Dimes
7 Nickles
17 Pennies

Oh, and a dollar token to a car wash off of Beverly blvd. here in Los Angeles.

Well there is never a bad day at the beach because you are not at work or paying bills... It does look like you had a great day at the beach though. Looking forward to see what else you will find next time on the beach...

Great JOB! at the beach. I have an ACE 250 and love it. Its a great little machine, don't under estimate it. I have only been doing this about 2 months..and love it!
