Its official the Ace has paid for itself in Clad!!

Well sorta kinda. With yesterday clad and todays the grand total is $201.88 in 3 months. A lot came from one school that gets the money back but donations don't count right? This post is more to reasure those young and those just starting out it does not take the high priced equipment to have fun and make great finds. For whatever reason money, time, or just not sure you will like the hobby it does not take the most expensive equipment to get started or even stay with it. I started with the Ace and made my own digging tools and have just the cost of the machine in the hobby so far. Ofcourse excluding gas, batteries, and whatnots. I've had many hobbies, and very expensive hobbies (if you don't believe me just ask the wife LOL) and this one excites me like no other. It was my challenge to see how fast I could accumulate enough clad to say it was paid for and I feel rewarded in that. I do feel blessed that a lot of the places i"ve been are fairly virgin with little compitition. Not something everyone getting into detecting will have but don't get discouraged, try different places, and the most important thing, keep on swinging!!

With that said it is my nature to get growing pains with every hobby I get into. It's uncontrolable from birth. I'm sure the sponsers will be hearing from me.

Good for you. it is amazing how much money is out there. You found over two hundred dollars in clad. I usually turn in about $40.00 a month and thats just two of us. I am happy for you keep up the good work.
