Default Franklin half, Walking liberty, Mecury dime, and Wheaties

My best old coin day. Was suppose to be working on the roof but we will not get into that. LOL Was going to kill a little time this morning while the roof was drying off. You know one if those 3 hour tours like in Giligans Island that lasted all day. I got permission to hunt an old plantation site also where there was an old post office. Found the standing liberty first and thats where I lost track of time. Its in bad shape. Them the 51 Franklin Half. That blew my mind and the roof was forgotten. Then I think an African penny. I collect large cents and when I first saw this one in the hole I got weak. Funny I buy them all the time but the thought of finding one had me going. A 36 Mecury Dime and 11 wheaties. Can only read dates on 6.(56,42,53D,50,42.and44.) A knife, a bullet, a part to an old lock and I don't know on the other piece. Great day. Gota play catch up tomorrow.LOL

Truck in avat. is for sale $4700 firm.

Great finds! Hope that plantation pays off for you. I have got to get back down home to Mississippi and take a look around some of those old plantations. I know there are some good things to be found! Good luck!

Yes kentfb we can buy many of these coins but it's so much better when you have a day like you did. Priceless. Thanks for the post and that Ghana coin is really neat.

Thanks Gals and guys. That was the most exciting hunt for me so far. Can't wait to have more time to do the plantation. Later Kent
