Default Kings and Queens

Was out to the local park yesterday and found 5 more silver coins. Uncovered an 1898 Victoria 5 cent, a 1910 Edward 5 cent, a 1936 George V one cent (with a dot would have been worth $40,000.00 US), a 1942 George VI dime, a 19?? Elizabeth (young queen head)dime and a 1966 Elizabeth (mature head) dime. These are all of Canada's monarchs since confederation in 1867. Also found $4.38 in clads and a musket ball. Thanks for looking and HH

Looks like royalty was well represented. Got to keep looking for the elusive dot. There has to be one in the ground somewhere!

Default 1936 dot 1 cent

The mintage of 36 dot pennies was 678,823 but only 4 are known, my book says in 1997 pittman sale was $170,000.00.

Awesome finds. Keep on looking that dot is out there! 40,000 would be a nice pay check, if that is what you wanted to do with it.
